Gravity Energy Storage Using Hydraulic Power

Store renewable energy into gravitational form

Patented Invention
WIPO/PCT WO2024127382

Gravity Energy Storage GES

Most countries have turned to renewable energy production to reduce global warming and environmental pollution. These energies are not permanent and predictable. Using energy storage systems will solve the problems. Gravity energy storage, lifting and taking down the weight to store and release energy is one of them. This innovation uses gravity energy storage by hydraulic power. This system consists of a rectangular loadbox, a central large-bore hydraulic cylinder and 4 lateral telescopic cylinders. To increase capacity, the loadbox is filled with compact iron ore. Surcharged electric energy is fed to the hydraulic system and lifts the loadbox. When energy is released, the weight of the loadbox causes cylinders to retract and oil pressure rotates the hydromotor and electric generator. This system is highly efficient with less friction and moving parts so a longer life span is expected. This system is modular and can easily shape energy storage farms.

Continuous Tidal Energy Production System Using Sub-sea Level Reservoir Onshore

Using Negative Head and sea dam Onshore

Patented Invention
WIPO/PCT WO2024246612

Negative head and tidal dam

Tidal energy is at the center of interest in renewable energies. Since tides vary each day both in occurrence time and height, producing energy whenever you want according to grid demand is challenging. This innovation proposes sub sea level turbines in an artificial lake onshore, to maintain minimum water head at any time to ensure enough electricity production. Wherein seawater pours into lake turbines directly by a water channel controlled by an adjustable gate. A plurality of water pumps is installed at the bottom of the lake to empty the lake. A tidal dam equipped with hydro turbines constructed in front of the lake to produce enough electric power for water pumps. In addition, suitable solar panels are installed to accelerate emptying the lake. Lake turbines can produce energy at any time of day regardless of ebb or tide. This invention is the missing link to clean energy production.

Variable Blade High Torque Wind Turbine

Small to large scale high torque variable length blade

Patented Invention
WIPO/PCT WO2024224385

Innovative wind turbine

Wind turbines are providing almost 30% of renewable energy now. Medium and small-scale turbines have little contribution to energy production. The proposed horizontal variable-blade wind turbine can fill the gap. In this turbine blades can extend and retract using an oval path. The rotor`s blades have 1.8 times the initial length when perpendicular to wind so the torque is multiplied. Each blade comprises a fixed part secured to the central shaft and a sliding blade that moves up and down over the fixed section. The blade starts to retract as it leaves the utmost position to reduce the rotor diameter so it can be installed in smaller places. A tilting mechanism determines the location and amount of blade extension. This turbine has low speed and high torque so it has less noise and vibration. It is suitable for small to mid-range usage and can form a wind farm.

With mid-sea power storage there will be no power shortage

The present invention relates to an energy storage system (ESS) designed to enhance grid stability in renewable-energy-based networks. Due to the intermittent nature of solar and wind power, maintaining a consistent energy supply presents significant challenges. The proposed system comprises a subsea-level pool structure located offshore, built with multilayered walls extending from the seabed to above the water surface. Multiple turbine and pump-out stations are integrated into the system. During grid energy demand, seawater enters the pool through turbines, generating electricity. When surplus energy is available on the grid, pump-out stations expel seawater from the pool to recharge the system. The disclosed ESS provides gigawatt-scale storage capacity, exhibits superior longevity with minimal performance degradation compared to other storage technologies, and includes measures to protect marine ecosystems. This configuration ensures continuous water access, offers flexible site selection without reliance on elevated terrains, and supports large-scale deployment for grid support.
